1. How long will delivery take?
We send your order out within 24hrs of receiving it. From there, delivery times are subject to the terms laid out by the
courier companies: Fastway Couriers, StarTrack Couriers or Australia Post Express.

On average the following shipping times occur but are not guaranteed:

Couriers: (used for most orders)
To major cities in NSW, QLD, VIC = 2-5 business days.
To major cities in SA, TAS, WA, NT = 3-8 business days.
To regional/country areas add a couple of business days.

Express Australia Post: (used mainly for small/single-hammock orders that need to be delivered fast)
To major cities Australia-wide = 1-2 business days.
To regional/country areas add another 1-2 business days.

2. How much does shipping cost?
Shipping Australia-wide is 100% FREE! For a limited time only.

3. What happens if no-one will be available to sign for the delivery when the courier driver arrives?
If you are happy for the courier to leave your goods at the shipping address simply include a special note when checking
out saying that the driver can leave the goods unsigned. Eg. “If not home leave behind side gate.”

If you would prefer to be there when the goods arrive (e.g. it may be unsafe to leave it at your home/business address) the
courier driver will leave a card advising you that a delivery was attempted. You can then contact the couriers office to arrange another
mutually convenient delivery date.

5. Can I choose the colour of my hammock?
Yes. The colour choices are shown in the image section of each product listing page.

Not all hammocks come in multiple colours. In these cases, it will be mentioned in the descriptions and you won’t be able to
choose any colours from before ordering the item.

Only colours that are in stock will appear in the drop down menu above the Add to cart button. If a colour is Out of Stock it will not show.

6. Do you have a shop where I can see the hammocks?
Unfortunately we don’t. Hammock Centre is an online store only. We are however offering free shipping right now.

7. Do I need any other accessories to hang my hammock?
All our hammocks have a strong ring on each end so you can tie them to trees, posts or strong bolts with some thick rope or tree straps.
If you don’t have the correct space and sturdy poles to hang a hammock you can still have a hammock. A hammock frame is a handy
solution and makes it easy for you to move your hammock around depending on where the best spot is in your home.

8. I don’t have a PayPal account, can I pay with a creditcard?
Yes. When you proceed to checkout you will be directed to a PayPal checkout page. Click on the link on the left side of the page that
allows you to use a creditcard.

9. What are the hammocks made of?
• All our Brazilian and Asian hammocks are made of 100% cotton.
• The Brazilian hammocks go a step further as they are made with colour-fast cotton. This material stays brighter for longer when
exposed to the sun and rain.
• The Mexican hammocks are made of either cotton or nylon.
• The Brazilian and Mexican hammocks are all handmade.

10. What hammocks do you recommend?
Our highest quality hammocks are the:
• Brazilian Hammocks (all of them) and the
• Mexican hammocks (The Nylon Plus range)

The Brazilian hammocks are great for when it gets a bit cooler and offer a lot of comfort and support, while the Mexican hammocks
are great for hot summer days and the open weave enables the hammock to mould to your body so they are very comfortable.

11. What hammocks are compatible with hammock frames?
Most hammocks are suitable for our hammock frames with a couple of exceptions:
• Single hammocks are not ideal to use on hammock frames as they are a bit too short, making the hammock quite taught.
• Hammocks with spreader bars are not recommended for any frames because the frame pulls the rope end in to a tight point which
makes the hammock a bit unstable. The wooden bars also damage the frame when they bash against the arms of the frames.

12. What are the hanging distances needed for the hammocks?
Generally distances for single hammocks needs to be 2.5 to 4m apart and at least 1.0m high.

Large hammocks (Double, Queen or King size) need to be 3 to 5m apart and 1.2m high or higher.
